Remember Prayer Meeting

To God's Beloved At Cloverdale Baptist Church:

Enjoyed a wonderful Canada day, and a reminder for us to continue to pray for our great country!  HUGE thank you to all who helped us put on a great JULY 1 BBQ!  Thank you for serving Jesus!  May our God keep us strong and free.  As you pray for our Prime Minister, and others, seek their good in the Gospel, as well as our freedom (2 Timothy 2:1-3).  I love Canada, and pray for a revival here that would display the love and holiness of God in the church, and through her to this world.  Take the time to seek God's face in personal commitment (Romans 12:1-2) even as you pray for this renewal!

Summer Reminders:

Culture Of Evangelism:  Remember to use this opportunity to be building relationships with your neighbours.  It is good to be outside, working on the yard, even better to use this as an opportunity to share God's love with those around us!  If each of us will prayerfully look for opportunities to reach out, multiplication could occur.  So in obedience to God, be a great AMBASSADOR for Him this summer (2 Corinthians 5:11-21).

Culture Of Dependence:  Remember that we are dependent on God, and as such are a people of prayer.  Elder led prayer meetings start this week, 7-8 pm on Tuesday nights.  Encourage you to come, learn more about God, and spend the majority of our time in prayer together!  We want to be a praying church and have it mark who we are together for God's glory.

Baptism:  We are having a baptism service on July 22, if you are a believer and have never been baptized by immersion, come and talk with one of your pastors and we would love this opportunity to help you take this step of witness and obedience.

Missions:  Pray for our short term teams...Sunnybrae and Egypt.  Please also pray for Javier and Karen as they travel to Mexico, and seek to strengthen the churches there, and how they support missions around the world.  Pray that their ministry would be fruitful around the world.

Sunday Is Coming:

We are taking a break from our series on Judges (don't worry, will, God willing, be back to it on the 15) to focus on Elijah.

As you prepare your hearts to hear from God's Word, read 1 Kings 18, and come ready to be challenged to whole hearted devotion to God.

REMINDER:  If you are on holidays you can still join us for worship online.  Have heard our live streaming is excellent and plan to try it out myself :)

God's blessings, have a great week, and seek to be an encouragement to someone around you this week!  We will have encouragement cards available for you to use people's boxes to love one another!
