Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

Today we celebrate the One who came to seek and save the lost.  What a day of great joy, as we spend time with family and as we fix our eyes on Jesus.

Today, as you rejoice and seek to glorify God, three quick things as you seek NOT TO FORGET THE CHILD.

1.  Merry Christmas.  We praise God that you are a part of our family, and rejoice that we get to serve Him with you!  Thank you for your love for God, us and our family here.  May our God grant you a great day!  MERRY CHRISTMAS!

2.  Make The Most Of Today (and this year):  Today tell all you can about Jesus.  Share who He is and what He has done, and specifically at this time of year, why He came.  Take the time to pray for opportunities, and to then act on those opportunities.  Christmas is a great time to share love with those closest to you, and also to share the greater love of Jesus with those who will listen.  Christmas is a call for Christians to use our LIPS & our LIVES for their purpose, point to Jesus.

3.  Move Towards Others:  At Christmas time, many are hurting, and this is a chance for you to reach out into the lives of those around you and express a simple note of love, prayer and care.  If you have lost a loved one, or know someone that has, take the time to express your care.  If you are lonely, find someone else who you think might be and send a blessing, if you are not, praise God for those around you, and seek to use that feeling to reach out and offer encouragement to someone who might be lonely.  Christmas is a time of LOVE!

Christmas is about the greatest love that could ever have been found.  A love for God that included the sending of His Son to live a perfect life, fully God and fully man, and to die in our place.  He has risen again, called us to experience His LOVE, and to pursue His MISSION for our lives.

Merry Christmas.  You are loved, and sent on a mission to love.

Wishing you God's blessings today, and beyond...Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
