As Christian men and spiritual heads of our households, we are to:
- Honor Jesus Christ through prayer, worship and obedience to His Word, through the power of the Holy Spirit;
- Practice spiritual, moral, ethical and sexual purity;
- Build strong marriages and families through love, protection and biblical values;
- Support the mission of our local church, by honoring and praying for our pastor and leaders by actively giving our time and resources;
- Influence our world, being obedient to the Great Commandment (Mark 12:30-31) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
Our Commitments?
- Totally surrender our lives to Christ as our Savior and Master.
- Develop a servant attitude, modeled after that of Jesus.
- Be a reader, knower and doer to the Word.
- Pursue vital, trusting relationships with other Christian men, understanding that we need brothers to help us keep our Christian commitments.
- Participate in a Christ-centered, disciple-making men's ministry in our church.
Our Purpose
| Men's Ministry at Cloverdale Baptist Church is the active pursuit of men in order to connect them to God, His Word, and other men for the purpose of winning, growing, and training God's man in Christ. We will be a group of men that passionately seek holiness and truth. As an overflow of Christ's work in our lives our mission will be to actively look for opportunities to serve and love those around us. |

The men's ministry at Cloverdale Baptist is open and available to all men and strives to Build Men for Christ. There is men's floor hockey weekly on Tuesday evenings in the church gym (7:30pm). The men also meet on the first Saturday of every month for breakfast. This takes place at the church and starts at 8:30am. This is a time for the men to get together for food, fellowship and a time of study and prayer. Yearly events include a golf tournament and a men's retreat; a weekend away for men to felowship and relax through a little healthy competition, good food, lots of activities and relection on God's Word.
Meeting Dates
A monthly men's prayer group meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 8:30am.
Men's floor hockey is every Tuesday in the church gym at 7:30pm.
Men's breakfast is the first Saturday of every month at 8:30am
Special events will be announced when dates are available. These events include a men's retreat, social events, conferences or seminars, outreach opportunities, service projects, and an annual golf tournament.
