Cloverdale Baptist Church offers a wide variety of programs and ministries
designed to fit into your stage in life. Here are some of the ways that we can
minister to you and your family:
MEN’S MINISTRY
The men’s ministry at Cloverdale Baptist is open and available to all men and strives to Build Men for Christ. We start each ministry year with an annual Golf Tournament. There is men’s floor hockey weekly on Tuesday evenings in the church gym (7:30PM). The men also meet on the first Saturday of every month for breakfast. This takes place at the church and starts at 8:30 a.m. This is a time for the men to get together for food, fellowship and a time of study and prayer. Yearly events include a men’s retreat. A weekend away for men to fellowship and relax through a little healthy competition, good food, lots of activities and reflection on God’s Word. (read more...)
WOMEN’S MINISTRY
There is a variety of women’s ministries through out the year to meet the needs of the ladies in our church. Check out the bulletin board on the event wall for all current information or ask for information at the church Welcome Centre.
Join women of every age in a Bible study and time of friendship and visiting every Tuesday at 9:15 AM. All women are welcome. Nursery care is available during this time.
OVER 50’S FELLOWSHIP
Our over 50’s Fellowship meets the first Wednesday of every month for a time of Dinner, Fellowship and a special guest. Tickets are available at the church office or in the vestibule starting two Sundays before the event. During the year there are different events, retreats and special outings to cater to the interests of everyone.
COLLEGE & CAREER
College and Career meet every Sunday at 6:00 pm at the church for a time of Bible study and fellowship.
JUNIOR CHURCH
Junior Church is an organized class that runs during the morning worship service for ages 3 - 7 years of age. Children will enjoy a Bible lesson, crafts, singing and other special events.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday school classes for all ages run on Sunday mornings with several adult electives available. Children participate in the Generation of Grace program during this time. Check the bulletin for details and note that most classes do not run during the summer months.
JUNIOR & SR. HIGH YOUTH
Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, and Self-control - we are trying to learn these things together. Every Wednesday both Junior High and Senior High Youth Group meet at the church, 7 - 9 PM for Bible study. On the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month the Junior High meet at the church for an event and on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, the Senior High Youth meet for an event. GROWTH GROUPS
The ministry of Growth Groups at CBC is very important to connecting into community and growing. We encourage every person who joins Cloverdale Baptist to be a part of a small group where together you can study God's Word and be a part of an intimate sharing group. If you would like to join a group please contact the office.
NURSERY
Nursery care is available during our Sunday Morning Sunday School classes as well as Worship Service. There is nursery care available for children newborn to 2 years of age.
CLOVERDALE HEIGHTS DAYCARE
Our centre offers two childcare programs—Daycare for children ages 3—5 years old and School Age Care for those 6-10 years of age. If you have any questions they can be directed to 604-574-8798.
