Youth Ministry Team Meeting.

If you have been a part of Overflow Youth Ministry in the last couple years, you will have seen some of the results of our YMT including the events they have planned, namely "The Amazing Race," "Duct Tape Disaster," "Xtreme Mission: Impossible," "Extreme Build-It," "Epic Film Festival," and "Mall Hunt." All six were events planned by those ranging in age from grade 7 - 12.

But being a part of the Youth Ministry Team (YMT) is not just a chance to plan a great event, it is an opportunity for you to be taught biblical leadership and to have an opportunity to use those skills in our ministry.

Anyone from grade 7 to 12 who is a part of Overflow Youth is welcome to join. The YMT will involve three Saturday morning meetings at 9:00am (Sept 20th, October 11th and November 1st) in which you will get to learn great biblical leadership lessons and be instructed in how to use them in ministry at CBC Overflow Youth.

The YMT will also get to plan a youth event as a team (with a little guidance from myself) which will take place on November 7th, 2014. You will be expected to be at each meeting and the event, so please only sign-up if you are able to attend. If you can't make it to these, there are three opportunities to serve in the YMT Year, each beginning about a month after the YMT planned event.
