KIDS Church Grades 1-6

CBC Kid’s Ministry is EXCITED to meet you and your kids! Our trained, background checked staff and volunteer teams are committed to providing a ministry that connects the Bible to where kids live and breathe; at home, on the playground and with their friends. When your child leaves here each Sunday, it is our goal that they will know that nothing can separate them from God’s love (Rom. 8:39), that they are created with a purpose, and that WE love them too!!

We love parents! It is a privilege to partner with you in the spiritual development of your children. It is our goal to reinforce what you are already teaching in your home. As we work together, we invite you to join us in any of our programs to participate with your child. Our guest service team or our volunteers in the classrooms will be happy to assist you by providing a guest badge.

Communication is also very important to us. In order to effectively serve you, we encourage you to communicate any needs you might have. You can reach us at 604-574-8799. Some things that might be helpful for us to know would be:

  • Special Needs
  • Medical Concerns
  • Questions???
  • Changes in normal pick-up
  • Changes in family dynamic
  • Prayer Needs

Anything else that is specific to your family

Drop-off and Release

The safety of all children is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we have guidelines in the children’s ministry with regards to Drop-off and Pick-up.

When you first arrive at CBC stop at the child check in area located in the Lobby and our friendly volunteers will assist you in filling out the Electronic Registration, issue a temporary name badge for each of your children, and a claim check for you. If time permits, proceed to your child’s classroom to see where you will be picking them up at the end of the service as well as meeting the teaching team who is anxiously waiting to meet you and your child.

Children will be dismissed part way through the service to their different areas to worship Jesus in their own unique way.

When picking up your child, you will be asked to show your claim-check to a volunteer to ensure the safety of your child. After doing so, your child will be released to you.  If you lose your claim-check, we ask that you kindly show some sort of ID and sign the attendance booklet.
