one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace."
1 Peter 4:10
We welcome you to serve alongside us! God's Word directs us to use our gifts to serve one another. Our longing is to see every woman using her God given gifts and talents "for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10) It is our hope to provide women with different outlets to serve one another and in doing so, build up the body of Christ.
There are many opportunities for you to serve—consider serving with our Physical Care Team or Events Team!
Physical Care Team
Our Physical Care Team ministers practically to the needs of people at CBC. Here are some sample activities:
- Meal Ministry: make meals for families after the birth of a baby or when there is an illness.
- Care of children*: childminding during our Women's Bible Studies and events.
- Preparing and serving food** at church functions like funeral, teas, Newcomer Lunches.
Events Team
Our Events Team ministers to our women through supporting our WM leader team to host events in line with WM mission & goals such as for the following events:
- Growing Together Women’s Breakfasts.
- Women’s seasonal events like Christmas Outreach, Dad & Daughter Valentine and Spring Strawberry Tea.
- Showers for first-time moms and brides.
