We are so blessed to belong to this family. The wedding was a wonderful celebration and we are so thankful to all who came, sent well wishes and were a blessing to Jeff and Hannah (and us). They had an amazing day, and so did we! THANK YOU for being a great church family and being a blessing to belong to. Osterman's and us would like to express a deep thank you to all who gave of their time and love.
Lori and I took a week off before the wedding for finalizing plans, and a week off after the wedding to rest together. We were blessed to spend the week after in Birch Bay, enjoying the beach and one another and resting. I love times like this as spending time with my love is a blessing and reading, something I don't get enough time for in the real world. Two books that stood out for me on this trip that I would suggest you read at some point in the next year, Spiritual Disciplines For The Christian Life, by Donald Whitney is a book that helps build the foundation for a healthy Christian life. The other book was on contentment and reading it reminded me of this lost jewel in the Christian Church. The Power Of Christian Contentment, by Andrew Davis is excellent. Easy to read, convicting and deeply Biblical.

Floating in the Christian life is not a good thing, but a Float for Cloverdale Baptist is...our float in the Cloverdale Rodeo Parade was excellent! WELL DONE all who helped out, and a blessing even on Sunday morning. Have to say I love the cowboy hat that I borrowed for Sunday morning, and think we should have Rodeo every week! Thank you!
Our Spring Business Meeting is coming up, and this is a time of worship and celebration as well as reflection and a joining together in the commitment of seeking God's glory together in budgeting and committing to give. All are welcome and members expected. Please come having prayerfully sought the Lord and ready to help us find unity and passion in our pursuit of God's will. Tuesday May 28, 7:00 pm.
