Without Holiness We Won't See God

To God's Beloved @ Cloverdale Baptist Church:

I love baptism Sunday's.  Not only is it an opportunity to rejoice in the greatness of salvation, it is a joy to hear the testimonies of God's people as they share what God has done in their lives.  Sunday was a blessing as we rejoiced together!  God is at work in His people and together we are becoming who He wants us to become.  This coming Sunday is communion Sunday, an opportunity for us to remember together at what Jesus has done for us, and to experience His love afresh as we obey Him.  What a blessing to celebrate together!  Please reflect on the greatness of your Saviour as you get ready for Sunday.

We have one more week in our HOLINESS series, and then officially into Christmas.  That being said, we start advent this week, and continue to enjoy the beautiful decorations that we are so blessed with!  Thank you to all who helped us with this!  May this season be one where we pray for, and take advantage of opportunities to share how great God is, and why we celebrate Christmas.  Please take the time to share with others how God uses you to draw people to Himself this season!

What In The World Is God Doing?

This week I encourage you to write one of our missionaries and share your love for them and pray for them.  If you need help knowing who to write, or what to say you can go to our missions board and find more information there.  More and more we want the missionaries we support to be known by our church and brought thoughtfully into His presence.  God will use our prayers to accomplish His will for His glory!

Encourage you to take time to work through the book we have produced for application, whether that be in your growth group, with your family, or with friends!  Our desire is that you would be able to apply God's Word, and that together we would grow in HOLINESS!

Sunday Is Coming:  The last message in this series...

Title:  Pursuing Holiness With Passion

Text:  1 Thessalonians 4:1-12

Why is knowing the holiness of God so important in our own practical pursuit of holiness?

How does this particular text show us that pursuing holiness pleases God?

How are holiness and obedience mixed?

How does holiness display love?

If holiness is not displayed in love what does that show us?

How does our pursuit of holiness as a church and as individuals help us in our desire to reach people for Jesus?

See you Sunday!
