Sunday Is Coming

To God's Beloved At Cloverdale Baptist Church:

It is Wednesday and Sunday is coming...

Lots going on as we prepare our hearts for Christmas.  One of the challenges we have in the busyness of this season is to slow our pace and hearts down long enough to focus on Jesus and all that He has done for us!  A huge help in this is the celebration on communion this Sunday.  Please even now be focusing your hearts and minds on what Jesus has done, and seek to never let the Gospel, and the love of Jesus out of your heart and experience.  We long to be an HTML church (if you don't know what that stands for, will share over the next few weeks in this email), and the core of this is a first love relationship with Jesus!  We long to be driven and defined by His love for us and our worship of Him!  Please seek to think of Him often enough that you can say with Paul, to live is Christ, to die is gain!

It is a busy Week:

Seniors Christmas Banquet:  Tickets are needed, and it is Friday night...

Men's Breakfast:  Exciting to hear one of our elders share from God's Word and enjoy great food together.  Saturday 8:30  am

Women's Ginger Bread Event:  Saturday 7:00 pm

Joint Servant Team:  Invites you to breakfast on Sunday at 9:00, and allow us to bless you and serve you on this special day.  Sunday 9:00 am

Church Meeting On Sunday After Service:  Join us in seeking God's will in our love for the persecuted church, and sponsoring of refugees.  Sunday after service

I love busy weeks as one of the essentials of Christian health is community, knowing and loving believers around us.  Please take the time to engage, and love.  We want to be known for our love as a church, and your part in that is key!

Sunday Is Coming:

Christmas Sermon #1:  Who Is Jesus:  Immanuel

Text:  Isaiah 7:14

Why is our view of Jesus so significant?

If we have a wrong view of Jesus, does that really matter?

How can we make sure our view of Him is right?

How does Isaiah 7:14 inform us who Jesus is?

How can you use this Christmas season to sharpen your view of Jesus?

Have a great week,

Looking forward to an amazing Sunday!
