Who is Kilbride Community Church (KCC)?
Kilbride Community Church (KCC) is a church planting ministry in a dormitory suburb of St Johns, Newfoundland. KCC is working under Mile One Mission, which is a church planting ministry of Calvary Baptist Church, the only evangelical church in the city of St Johns. KCC meets at the local community centre.

Purpose of the Trip?
To assist the local church to run a 5 day soccer based kids camp for 30-50 children in the Kilbride community, with the goal for KCC people to share the gospel carefully in a community that does not know what a church really stands for.
Team Composition and Size
Dwight Stephen will lead the team. A suitable assistant leader will be identified from within the team.
It is expected this team will be about 7 strong, including the leaders.
The trip is suitable for older youth (16 years and above) or young adults. Individual maturity is as important as actual age. Adults with a passion for kids ministry will be considered. Physical ability to participate in soccer drills is also important.
Experience with CBC soccer camp or other children’s day camps would be an asset.
Timing and Duration of Trip
The trip would be for approximately 9 days including travel time. The trip is expected to be from August 17th – August 25th, 2024. Travel details will determine exact dates.
Cost of the Trip and Funding Model
The total cost of the trip would be about $2,340 per person.
Each individual is expected to do personal fundraising to raise a minimum of $350.
