To God's Beloved At Cloverdale Baptist Church:

Last Sunday in the old building...Getting Ready For The First Sunday...in the new...

God willing (keep praying) June 14 will be the last Sunday in our current facility.  This is very exciting, and we want to celebrate together with song, Word, and fellowship!  We will be together as one service, and this means we will be full and joy filled!  Come early for best seats, and please, if you are able, park off site.  The overflow will be available, and I am sure used.  10:30 start time!  We will also be having a time of singing and praise starting before the service, we would encourage you to join us for this time of singing at 10:10.  God willing we will walk over to the new building and sing the doxology outside of the new building.  These are exciting times, please continue to pray, pursue unity in joy, and join us in becoming more and more together the church God wants us to be, filled with people of all ages and ethnicities praising the LORD!

There will be KIDS church for pre K and K, but the rest of the children will be joining us in the service.

Don't forget the number 22...more on this Sunday morning...

Thank you to all of you who have helped us move over things to the new building.  I am sure there is a lot more to be done, so encourage you to find a place to serve and help as we get used to worshipping together in the new facility.  We are blessed to have so many willing servants!  I am proud of you as a church family, lets keep it up and grow it!

Times are a little chaotic for us at the office, so remember to offer us a little grace, and the odd encouragement (especially for office staff) as we make this move.  We might be a little slower returning calls, but when we have air conditioning all will be better.

It is a privilege to be a part of a church family that is so committed to one another and God's Word and work.  Thank you for your part in this.

Remember to continue to pray for our short term missionaries, who we have sent out in the last few weeks, and will be sending out.

I was proud to be a part of our Grad celebration last Sunday night.  It was a joy to see our grads sharing about their lives, and the impact we have had on them is such an encouragement to my heart!  I praise God for Pastor Thomas, parents, and a church that values youth.  God is at work in our church, and these young people.  PRAISE GOD!

Back to the Bible is in our church Saturday night 7-9:00 pm.  Pastor John Neufeld is one of Canada's best preachers (if not the best) so this is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of a night of song, humour and the Word of God.

Sunday Is Coming:

I covet your prayers for me as you prepare your own heart for worship and change.  Pray that I would prepare and preach with the power of the Holy Spirit, and that lives would be impacted for God's Glory in our flock.

Title:  Thus Far The Lord Has Helped Us

Text:  1 Samuel 7

Why is Biblical History so helpful to know well?

How can you get to know the historical books in the Bible better?

What does 1 Samuel 7 teach us?

Why is the power of God so important to remember as we look backwards and forwards?

What did the Israelites expect would happen when they brought the Ark into the battle?

Why were they wrong?  How do we do this sometimes?

How does Samuel's message help us in our situation to follow God?

What are some things that would be good for you to have an EBENEZER stone to help you?

Share some of your great memories of Cloverdale Baptist Church and how God has worked in your life here with someone else.

Share what you are excited about in moving to the new facility.

Pray!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ARMS UP

Thanks for being a great church, may we ever be growing in humility, submission, passion and courage.

A fellow servant

Pastor Rob
