Praise God

Praise God!

It has been a great few weeks, tiring perhaps, but exciting.

We are in the midst of Soccer Camp, and to see so many choosing to serve, some taking weeks off of work, others investing huge amounts of time to see God glorified is great.  I was so proud of our son Jeff, who in the midst of a busy week of work (painting), had time off due to rain, and showed up just longing to serve Jesus and be a part of our ministry to children and families.  Not only proud of him, but our church family as we continue to serve Jesus with this kind of love and commitment.  WELL DONE!  Please keep praying, our desire is to have an eternal impact, and see families join our church family through this ministry.  Pray especially for Pastor Stewart and the Interns.

This Sunday we will be sending Jonathan and Korinna to Southern Seminary...well, maybe not sending, maybe closer to regretfully letting them go.  We wish them God's blessings as we anticipate seeing how God uses them to glorify His name.  Jonathan and Jason have been wonderful first steps in this internship training program and I am very proud of both of them.  We through our investment in their lives have made a difference!  Thank you for the resources and servant hearts to help us be a part of serving the universal Church by being a part of the development of these great men and their families.

Last night (reason I waited a day to send this out) I was excited to see us as a church seek God's will, and find God's will in the calling of another pastor.  Pastor Les and DeeDee rejoiced and have accepted the call of God to Cloverdale Baptist Church!  PRAISE GOD!  We are so excited to see what God has in store for all of us as we seek Him together.  Please pray for them as they now transition from Salmon Arm to our area, as well as please pray for their church family, it is always difficult to see someone you love moving on.  As we know more, we will let you know, in terms of when they are getting here and how we can help them.  Pastor Les noticed our servant hearts, and shared that he wants to help us more and more to be a congregation joined together in relationships and worshipping God in all of life.  God has a great plan for us as we pursue being a multi-generational, multi ethnic church and we are thankful that he is bringing another pastoral servant to help us in that.  PRAISE GOD!

Reminder of our prayer meeting next Tuesday night, July 28.  We will provide babysitting if anyone needs it, but we need to know ahead of time.  So we invite you, implore you, to join us in a time of prayer and praise, and if we can help you by providing care for your kids while you pray with us, let us know.

Sunday Is Coming:

Title:  How Great Is Our God...God IS HOLY

Text:  Isaiah 6:1-8

What does it mean that God is holy?

Why do you think that the Bible repeats the phrase, HOLY HOLY HOLY?

How does God's holiness encourage us to be holy?

How can we be a people who pray and are a part of the answer of, "Hallowed be your name?".

Respond to the quote, "revival happens when we see God majestic in holiness, and when we see ourselves, disobedient dust"

Why do you think that Isaiah responds to God's holiness the way he does?  How does this help us know how we are to respond?

How did this clear view of God help Isaiah serve over the course of his life even when it was super difficult?

Have a great week, keep constant in prayer, and we shall see you Sunday

Rejoicing as a fellow servant of our KING...PRAISE GOD!
