To God's Beloved At Cloverdale Baptist Church:
It is an exciting week as we praise God for all He has done to get us to this point and looking forward to where He is taking us over the next years for His glory in His strength. Sunday we will CELEBRATE our new building, and even more what the ministry impact could be as we stand together in prayer filled unity and mission accomplishment for our KING.
Please come to the morning service and look for new people to welcome and love. It starts at the regular time (10:30). Please also come in the afternoon for our short message time (2:30) and cake and coffee. In the second time we will be having tours of the building and youth will be available to explain the great ministry and fact points about the new building. It is an exciting time and we need you to take part in the celebration and display to the world around us love and servanthood. The church will be an open house from 2-4.
Change is a part of life, and something we seek with passion as Christians as we seek to become more and more like Jesus. As change comes with facility, and ministries please be patient as we figure out the logistics to best accomplish our mission. It is an exciting time, and as we stay together focused on the things that matter most, we will see incredible fruit (John 15:5-8). Please pray for your leaders, and find places to plug in and serve. As we grow, we will also need to find new servants, and if this is your church home, we need you to serve to be healthy! Choose this year to find a ministry and plug in!
As a pastoral staff we covet your prayers for our pastors dedicated day, a time of mission and defining win for us as those called to shepherd this flock in a healthy way full time. We believe that apart from your prayers we will fail and with your prayers nothing can stop us, so PLEASE PRAY! We will be gathering together Thursday September 10.
We had a long power outage last week, and it reminded me that POWER is needed to live a normal life. In the Christian life, it is even more needed...please be in prayer, we need God to be at work in this place for us to accomplish what He desires! PLEASE PRAY!
Please take the time to sign up for Growth Groups and Sunday School. These ministries are there to help you grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus as well as to help you connect with other believers at CBC. It is essential that as we grow bigger, we must grow stronger. It will take effort to build these relationships and it will be well worth it!
