To God’s Beloved At Cloverdale Baptist:
I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God…especially at a time like this.
You might say, really, at a time like this where division is rampant (National Post survey states that 40% of people are in family conflict over COVID), where countries are being destroyed, where life seems so frail???? And the answer is YES, I am so glad I am a part of the family of God!
I believe that God placed us where we are at in space time and history to be a part of His plan, and in that to be an encouragement and blessing to others!
This week we begin our celebration of HOLY WEEK, and our series called, THE CRUX OF THE MATTER. The centre point of history is the death and resurrection of Jesus and if we make it the centre point of our lives, we will experience peace, unity, passion to do His will, and great joy in the midst of the trials of life!
THIS IS IT!
OUR TIME IS NOW!
So it is our hope that in the midst of all the world is trying to do to confuse you, in the midst of all that the demonic is trying to do to destroy you, and in the midst of all your flesh is doing to distract you, WE WILL FOCUS ON THE CRUX OF THE MATTER!
This is an opportunity for all of us to re-orient ourselves around Jesus and His Word and to live our lives on mission for Him in the sphere of influence He has blessed us to be a part of.
Our goal for Cloverdale Baptist Church over the next few weeks is that we would worship our KING, we would wake up from our slumber, and we would war together for His glory! That we would live with HIM at the CENTRE!
This is our chance to reconnect with God and one another. This is our chance to put aside what he world, demonic and flesh are trying to do, and keep in step with the Spirit!
I am so thankful for the opportunity to reorient at such a time as this!

Over the course of the last few years our volunteer list has slowly grown out of date. In order to make the necessary corrections we have decided rebuild with new opportunities to connect and serve.
We have updated the Volunteer sign-up sheet and have prepared the attached online survey so that you can provide the areas you feel called to serve in. We will also have paper forms available at the Ministry Desk if you are not able to complete the online survey.
Please give prayerful consideration to where you might be called to serve and fill in the volunteer survey attached.

Please be advised of the upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting:

There will be an Extraordinary General Meeting as noted above to elect a search committee responsible to find a candidate for:
“Pastor of Families with a Focus on Children”
