To God’s Beloved At Cloverdale Baptist Church:
I am often overwhelmed that the Creator and Sustainer of the universe chooses to use people like us to accomplish His will for His glory. In fact it is breathtaking that our weak and meagre prayers are a beautiful smell to the Living God, and that He uses those to accomplish His will for His glory!
This week I heard again of how God has used Cloverdale Baptist in ways almost to breathtaking to believe. We supported a ministry that is seeking to reach Muslims with the Gospel of Jesus, and that now has reached way over 12 million people. Read that again…because of the giving and serving of Cloverdale Baptist over 12 million people around the Gospel who are trapped in a lie have heard the truth that can set them free…or at the very least been given a mirror to see the lies of this false religion.
WOW! Read that paragraph again! This missionary that has impacted the world in God’s strength said these words Saturday night at CBC, “I thank the LORD for people especially in this church who have supported me”. He did this as our representative as a member of our church, supported by this congregation (yes others as well, but primarily God's people here). God is using us way beyond what we deserve, and without us this would not have happened!
We must be reminded again and again that in God’s economy our prayers and our service matter! WELL DONE! If you consider Soccer Camp, Malachi Kids, and so many other things God is using His family here to change and shape eternity way beyond all we could ask or imagine...and He is using you in your sphere of influence!

Thank you for being a healthy and encouraging part of this family, for we all share in the blessing of what God does through His local church family! THANK YOU!
Keep praying and serving and building the bride of Jesus, and never forget she is God’s plan A and there is no plan B. Yes she is filled with people like you and me, and yes there is a battle that we fight against the flesh, the devil and the world, but it is worth it, and God is using us to accomplish His work around the world.
Sunday is Coming
I hope from last week, each of us is more effective in applying the Keystone Habit of PRAYER to our lives. It is amazing that God uses our prayers to accomplish His will for His glory! WOW!
Please prepare your hearts for Revelation 9 message this coming Sunday. Your preparing your hearts will make your soul fertile ground for God’s Word and the work of the Spirit.
- How does this passage of Scripture show us the AWESOME sovereignty of God?
- How does it show us the spiritual battle that has been raged throughout history?
- Why is seeing the battle as REAL essential for living victorious Christian lives here and now on earth?
- Jesus is REAL, and walks among the churches. Why is this important for us to remember as we continue our journey through Revelation?
- How does God giving the KEY and limiting the attack important for us to see as we engage in battle in our own broken world?
- How does this show us the protection of God for His children?
- Why do we need God’s Word so badly for our freedom to live according to His narrative?
- What are you doing to make sure you are more in the WORD than the world for this narrative?
