Hello from our holidays!
Thank you for your prayers and support as we journey together for God’s glory as a church family. We are blessed to be His together!
We want to be a church filled with authentic followers of God who are growing, and it is key in this that we continue to seek to see life as God’s Word defines it, and be more in the Word than world. That we seek to live lives that are His, set apart by Him, HOLY as He defines it, unstained by the world. That we live on mission for Him, and that we LOVE as we are loved.
All of these are only possible through faith, and the power of the Spirit. May we see Him, know what He has done for us, and experience His love so richly that we are full and overflowing for His glory. That we are driven and defined by His love. Walking by faith and not by sight means that we live in light of His Word, in the midst of all of our lives, and believe Him more than anything else that comes our way!
Now, if you are human (and most of us are), we will struggle sometimes with our own weaknesses and frailties, so it is essential that we live our lives in the context of relationship with God. What I mean by this is we live in His POWER, and in His PURITY. If you truly belong to Him, He is Happy with you…in Him. He cannot love you more, or less, and His love is not dependent on what you do, but what He has done for you. We can rest in Him completely even as we discipline ourselves for godliness! If we live gracious lives and as an overflow of His grace, we will always be HUMBLE and our grace for others will be boundless! Oh that we would experience His love, and live in light of that always! Meditate on 2 Corinthians 5:21 and rejoice and live in faith in His identity in you and His love for you!
I am thankful I am His, and together we can represent Him well, and live for His glory.

Sunday Is Coming
We are going to spend our summer in the Old Testament looking at ways that we can be encouraged and find HOPE…
God’s Word is given to us as a precious gift that if we listen carefully to will conform us to the image of Jesus as well as help us to live for Him in JOY! The life He has for us is not easy, but it is ABUNDANT, and we get to pursue Him together! I am thankful to be His!

Genesis 22
- As you read this story, what is it supposed to teach us?
- Why do you think that God commanded this?
- How do your actions today display your faith and hope in God?
- What does Abraham’s response teach us about faith, and what it means to believe that God is REAL and Relevant?
- What are some ways that you can grow your faith so that you live all of life as an overflow of your relationship with Him?

Spark Studios Summer Camp
July 11th – 15th / 9 AM – 12:30 PM / CBC
This summer over a hundred children will be joining us at the Spark Studios Summer Camp, where they’ll spend a week creating and taking apart things, as well as learning about our Creator. All this fun is only possible with the help of several volunteers, learn how you can be part of impacting children’s lives for eternity.
Kids Summer Camp Needs:
- Dozens of cookies: must not have any nuts or raisins in them. Please drop off at the kitchen on Sundays. Thank you for helping this way!

Used, small appliances, radios, computers, or anything that can be taken apart by kids. Please bring them to the church office and please know that these will not be returned!
Awana Registration
Here at CBC we have an awesome Tuesday night program to help disciple your kids called Awana. Registration will be opening on Tuesday July 5th for two groups: families who attend Cloverdale Baptist Church and any families who do not attend church. For questions, contact Pastor Thomas.
