Notice of Special Meeting (AGM)
November 30, 2022, 7:00 PM at Cloverdale Baptist Church
The Annual General meeting convened on November 23rd, 2022, did not have sufficient attendees to constitute a 20% quorum for the one special resolution on the agenda. In accordance with the CBC By-laws the meeting is adjourned to the same day in the next week, at the same time and place.
The By-law reads as follows:
Article ll General Meeting
7. II.7 If thirty (30) minutes from the time appointed for a General Meeting or at any time during the meeting, a quorum is not present, the meeting, if convened on the request of members, shall be terminated; but in any other case, it shall stand adjourned to the same day in the next week, at the same time and place, and if, at the adjourned meeting, a quorum is not present within thirty (30) minutes from the time appointed for the meeting, the members present constitute a quorum.
The continuation of the Annual General meeting will take place on November 30, 2022, at 7:00 PM in the CBC Sanctuary.
A quorum of 61 attendees is required and if after 30 minutes we fail to form a quorum the members present will constitute the quorum.
Agenda for meeting:
1.Election of Scrutineers (3)
2. Special Resolution:
Move that the members approve carry forward of $17,000 from 2021-22 deacons discretionary fund to the 2022/23 fiscal year. This is in relation to a RTU coil (Air Conditioning component) replacement that was approved in 2022 fiscal year but not completed until 2022/23 fiscal year.
