Merry Christmas From Our Family To Our Family

To God’s Beloved At Cloverdale Baptist Church:

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I love this time of year to rejoice with family and friends at the greatness of our salvation!  God is awesome, and worthy of our praise.  Loved a devotional by one of our pastors this morning that reminded us to focus on the child, to remember in the midst of all that is going on who Jesus is and what Jesus did.  We all need that reminder in the midst of the business of live and the seasons distractions!

Use this season for your own JOY reminders as well as sharing that joy with others.  I am aware that many of us struggle this time of year with depression and distractions, and my hope is that if together we can fixate on Jesus then this unity will overflow into serving Him and His bride at CBC.

I am so thankful for you all and rejoice in the richness of this seasons reminders.

Merry Christmas!

I know we will see many of you on the 24, and then on the 25, and then on the 1, but I might not get the chance to wish each of you a very special day.  I was asked by another pastor if we were going to hold any of those services, and although it is not our place to make decisions for other churches, at CBC, Jesus is central, His bride’s gathering a priority, so yes, we will be worshipping together on these special days.  If you are not with us, join us online, and let us exalt the KING together.

Blessed by you, rejoice that I am called to serve you, especially at this time of year

Pastor Rob

My neighbour (well a friend on my walks) greeted me again Sunday morning and expressed how much he was enjoying being in church.  He is “just” someone I invited, and who has come and found this place to be a warm and spiritual helpful place, even though church has not been a part of his life.  Thank you for looking for people to welcome  and love on Sunday’s, thank you for greeting my friend, many without knowing it, and thank you for inviting your friends to join us, and see how God’s strangers and aliens have HOPE in Him, and overflow His LOVE to one another!
