To God’s Beloved At Cloverdale Baptist Church:
What a privilege to belong to this family! CHURCH IS ESSENTIAL.
As we have been studying Romans 12:1-10, there is so much here that if we apply, we will be changed and change agents!
He is risen: HE RISEN INDEED
He is LORD: We SURRENDER ALL
He has called: I will serve and love His bride
What a joy we have to know Him, and build into His family. We must fight not only to know these things, but to live in light of them.
This is the only way that we can fight our proclivity to being like the Pharisees, Sadducees, Zealots or Tax Collectors. May we so experience His grace that we are WORD saturated and avoid the silos of the flesh, devil and world.
Which one of those do you sometimes struggle with? How can you fight this so that you are a living sacrifice and love the bride? Why is it so important to be aware of the ditches avoid slipping into them so we can honour the Savior?
It is time to wake up and live our lives in the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God! May we be those who so experience the LOVE of God that we can live our lives for Him with joy!
What is your spiritual gift? How are you using it to build CBC? Why is it important that each of us uses our gifts to build the family of Jesus?
I leave this week for Newfoundland to speak at a church planting conference put on by Mile One. Johnny and Mitch are joining me and we are seeking to represent CBC, prepare for our missions trip this summer, and build church planters identity in Christ. I am preaching from 2 Corinthians 5 and would love your prayers in helping these precious leaders to be so IN CHRIST that they can serve in the midst of the troubled world we live in with confidence!
Encourage you to obey James 1 and Matthew 7, and as you look in the mirror of God’s Word to align your life with it!
Sunday Is Coming:
We have a guest preacher coming from a sister TGC BC church. As you reflect on what you have learned from the Resurrection season, and apply it to your lives prepare for what God has for you by praying that He would speak to you through His servant.
Thank you for being the body of Jesus that I have the privilege to serve Him with, it is a joy being your pastor!

Day Camp / July 24–28 / Preschool–Grade 6: Five fun-filled days with stories, songs, teaching, crafts, and games! Kids will journey with Emerson, Nebraska, and their friends as they search to figure out the Mystery in Cedar Valley.
