The Elders of Cloverdale Baptist Church hereby give Notice of an Annual General Meeting.
It will be held at the following time and place:
- Meeting: General Business Meeting of Cloverdale Baptist Church
- Date: Wednesday, May 24, 2023
- Time: 7:00 p.m.
- Location: In the Sanctuary of Cloverdale Baptist Church at 18685 – 64th Avenue, Surrey BC
- Content: Usual General Business and Special Resolutions.
To consider General Business and the following Special Resolutions:
Finance:
- THAT the 2023/2024 budget be approved as presented.
Deacons:
- THAT the following be affirmed to the office of Deacon(ness) for a two-year (2) term, commencing September 1, 2023:
- Murray Isaac as Deacon of Missions (incumbent)
- Peter Sylvester as Deacon of Technology (incumbent)
- Deacon of Security (incumbent)
- Yuri Kostritsyn as Deacon of Exterior Properties (incumbent)
- __________ as Deacon of Fellowship
- __________ as Deacon of Men’s Ministries
Elders:
- THAT the following be affirmed in the office of Elder for a three-year (3) term, commencing September 1, 2023:
- Emilio Cabrera as Elder (incumbent)
- Daniel Fenske as Elder
Pastor of Discipleship Search Committee:
- THAT a Search Committee be formed to look for a Pastor of Discipleship.
Director of Young Adults:
- THAT Mitchell Janzen be affirmed as Director of Young Adults.
Biographies for all non-incumbent candidates, and the meeting agenda, may be found in the foyer on the information wall in front of the coat room.
Note: Childcare will not be provided during the meeting.
