The Elders of Cloverdale Baptist Church hereby give Notice of an Annual General Meeting.
It will be held at the following time and place:
Meeting: General Business Meeting of Cloverdale Baptist Church
Date: Tuesday, June 11, 2024
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: In the Sanctuary of Cloverdale Baptist Church at 18685 – 64th Avenue, Surrey BC
Content: Usual General Business and Special Resolutions.
To consider General Business and the following Special Resolutions:
Finance
THAT the 2024/2025 budget be approved as presented.
THAT a $100,000 Ministry Vision Fund be approved as presented.
Deacons
THAT the following be affirmed to the office of Deacon(ness) for a two-year (2) term, commencing September 1, 2024:
- Nadia Guirguis as Deaconess of Women (incumbent)
- Johan Jacobs as Deacon of Finance (incumbent)
- Wes Osterman as Deacon of Hospitality (incumbent)
- Wilf Radke as Deacon of Interior Properties (incumbent)
THAT the following be affirmed to the office of Deacon for a one-year (1) term, commencing immediately. Candidate will be completing the term of their predecessor Deacon of each Ministry.
- Rod Bigueta as Deacon of Fellowship (for Kyle Lewer)
- Richard Kaufmann as Deacon of Men’s (for Raed Guirguis)
Elders
THAT the following be affirmed in the office of Elder for a three-year (3) term, commencing September 1, 2024:
- Tim Radke as Elder (incumbent)
- Paul Weme as Elder (Incumbent)
Pastor of Families with a Focus on Worship and Young Adults
THAT Mitchell Janzen be affirmed as Pastor of Families with a Focus on Worship and Young Adults.
